our return policy
In-stock items
If you are not satisfied with your purchases, simply contact 16 Hands to alert us
to the return by calling toll-free 877-300-8185 or by sending us an email to: info@16handsgallery.com Please retain the original shipping box and packaging.
These can be reused for returns, or may be inspected by the shipping company if
items have been damaged in transit. Please package the item(s) carefully, as only
non-damaged items are accepted for return and you are responsible for damage in
return shipping. Please provide proper insurance for returned items.
From the date of delivery, you must contact us within 14 days to be eligible for a
refund (in the same manner of payment), and within 30 days for an exchange or
store credit. Refunds or credits will be processed within 10 business days of receiving
returned items.
Gift Items
When giving a gift, just request a Gift Exchange Card with your order. This is filled
out with enough information to identify the purchase, leaving off the price, of course.
This card can be post-dated to allow our regular return policy to begin when the gift
is given. Simply request the card in the Customer Notes section of your shopping cart,
and include the date you plan to give the gift. This can also be requested by phone when
calling us with your order. Our toll-free number is 877-300-8185 if you have any questions.
Special orders
Special orders are orders placed for customers for items not currently in-stock. These
orders require a 50% deposit, and the balance upon shipment. All shipping costs and
up-charges are the responsibility of the customer. Returned special ordered items will
incur a 20% restocking fee.
Custom orders
A custom order is an order for unique, one-of-a-kind or customized item. These include,
but are not limited to, custom designed jewelry, furniture, lighting or rugs. Custom orders
are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Shipping Charges
For all orders, shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, and are non-
refundable. Charges shown online are for standard shipping to addresses within the
continental U.S.. Please contact us for other shipping quotes, including oversize,
international or express shipping.
