 The artist couple of Peter Hill and Tara Cafiero launched The Pink Cloud Gallery in the late 80's as a way to extend their love of art into their community. Located in the Berkshire foothills of Connecticut, Pink Cloud creates a line of clocks that feature a wonderful variety of dog and cat designs, all designed by the artist team, and still made in their Connecticut studio.
"Tara received her BFA in Printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute. Peter received his MFA from the Yale School of Art and his BFA at the Philadelphia College of Art -- both majors in painting. The artists merged their work into finely hand-crafted clocks, which they began making and marketing in 1992. The artwork and design truly speaks to a wide variety of people." - Pink Cloud
The cat clocks shown here are about 12 1/2" tall. The size of dog clocks vary by breed. Your clock arrives nicely gift boxed. Each requires a single AA battery (not included), and hangs on the wall, with the tail swinging as a pendulum. They are created by applying a print of an original artwork to a durable wood backing. These clocks will make a great addition to all sorts of different rooms, from kitchens to offices to dorm rooms.
