The sculptural works by David Adix draw people in with
their detail and construction. The use of such a great variety
of found objects means there is always someting new to
discover each time you look. All are made by the artist in
his Arizona studio.

"The most consistent element throughout my work is the
salvation and reuse of materials. I regard the components
I use as fossil like evidence of what humans leave behind.
The earth's attempt to relcaim what has been drawn out of
it can be seen in various degrees in each piece. Each has a
story and a history unique unto itslef. I choose the materials
I use because I enjoy the challenge of creating beauty out of
what has been discarded. I see these components very organically.
